In 2014, I moved to Bruce Township for its rural charm looking for a good place to raise my family. I found 10 acres with farmland and I fell in love with the rural nature of Bruce. I have 3 children in the Romeo school district and they are a big part of the reason I have decided run for office. Family is incredibly important to me.
Faith and Community:
I am actively involved in the community. I serve behind the scenes on the technical team at Harvest Fellowship of Romeo. I also volunteer with the youth ministry at Orchard Ridge Church in Washington Township.
For the last 20 years I have worked with multiple churches in Oakland and Macomb county. I worked with at-risk youth with the City of Refuge for multiple years and I volunteered with middle and high school ministries at Kensington Community Church for almost a decade.
Work Experience
I have worked in the IT industry for almost 30 years. In 2001 I started a small web hosting and development company which I have operated debt free from the start. I worked in various industries leading me into Healthcare IT where I specialized in the Epic EMR application for the last 12 years.
As a subject matter expert, I have worked for hospitals around the country to design and implement large scale enterprise projects. I am highly detail oriented and an expert technical communicator, able to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements.
Education
I graduated from University of Michigan at the top of my class with Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Management Information Systems. I have a good understanding of business practices, business law, finance, and accounting.
