Leaders Listen and Serve

We need leaders that are focused on implementing policy that aligns with the interests and needs of our residents. We also want leaders that will diligently protect the rural identity and charm of our wonderful community.  Good elected officials listen to their constituents and follow their direction. They should not ignore the fundamental goals and turn Bruce Twp. into something that we do not want it to be, just because they think they have a better idea.

I am running for office, because the current leadership is ignoring us and they have us headed on the wrong path.  They and other outside influencers are pursuing an objective to adjust the Master Plan to accommodate development and commercialization. Once this happens, it is very difficult to stop.  This is not serving the community interests. The overwhelming feedback, I have received is that we do not want to look like Washington Twp. or Shelby Twp. We want to maintain our small rural town identity.  If elected, I will aggressively protect that.

We also need leaders who understand the needs of the people and are resourceful in finding ways to improve the quality of life for all, without adding additional tax burden, or bureaucracy.  I will always be available to hear and implement ideas on how to make our hometown better, without changing who we are.
